Spanish investors interested in Kish

      The MD of the Spanish Plant Cluster Co said the private sector of this country was ready to invest in Kish Island. According to KFZO Office of Cultural Affairs and PR, at his meeting with KFZO MD, Demaso Eris said this free zone had many potentials and advantages in economy and tourism: “Investment opportunities for Spanish investors will be seriously considered”. He pointed out that government backup was important for investment in a region, and added: “Investors are very thorough and logical about their investments”. According to this official of the Spanish investment sector, to invest in tourism and economic fields, one must study the initial infrastructures and Plant Cluster investment company will present its initial plans in this area. According to this same report, engineer Majid Shayesteh, KFZO MD and Board Director, also said he was ready to host private sector investors, including from Spain. He pointed out that in the past couple of months, work had started on a number of tourism projects on Kish Island, and reminded: “A large water park unique in the Middle East, a tourism village, and the construction of a number of 4-star and 5-star hotels were some of the measures taken in this sector”. KFZO MD continued by pointing out to the advantages of the beautiful island of Kish, and said: “The port and airport, foreign banks, oil bourse, tax exemptions, and no visa entry requirements for foreign nationals play an important part in attracting more foreign investment”. Shayesteh finished by declaring his readiness to host foreign investors, and said: “KFZO will dispose of land by receiving economically viable plans in various fields”.
