KFZO MD stresses on preserving the environment in industrial projects
KFZO Board Director and MD said: "One of the main KFZO slogans and aims is to protect the environment in industrial projects on Kish Island". According to KFZO Office of Cultural Affairs and PR, at the groundbreaking ceremony of the electronic bicycle and motorcycle factory in Kish on Tuesday, engineer Majid Shayesteh added: "The productions of this industrial factory will have a significant effect in preserving the environment, and also reducing energy consumption". Once again, he expressed support for private sector investment and investors in various projects on Kish Island and reminded: "Considering the multilateral support of the ninth government for investment, this standpoint is also thoroughly pursued on Kish Island". In another part of his speech, the KFZO MD pointed out to the 5th Free and Special Economic Zones Exhibition on Kish Island and said: "The presence of high ranking political and economic officials, including senior advisers and deputies to the President, MPs, and some deputy ministers at this exhibition shows government and regime determination in supporting and developing the free zones. During the ceremonies, the Board Director of Kish Shetab Dotcharkh announced that the sixth Tondar Industrial Group factory will be built in Kish with a view to export, and added: "This factory will become operational by the end of next year, in a surface area of 10 thousand sq m and a floor area of around five thousand sq m and provide employment for over 200 people". Abolfazl Hejazi also said: "Over 70% of its employees in Kish will be women". According to the Shetab Dotcharkh MD, the main parts will be produced in Qom, and the assembly unit will be in Kish in order to protect the island's environment. At these ceremonies, attended by Dr Hamid Behbahani – President's adviser in transportation – and local and national officials, the construction of one of the largest electronic bicycle and motorcycle factories in the Middle East got underway.
